More About Mark

I am the broker of record and part owner of the locally owned and operated McGuire Capital Group Realty located in downtown Vacaville. I was born and raised in Vacaville and I truly understand the charm and nuances of each individual neighborhood, and am in tune with their current market values. This is not only true for the town I call home, but also the surrounding Solano County area. Having attending Notre Dame Elementary and then Vacaville High School, I know what the private and public school systems in Vacaville have to offer.

Possessing an Economics and Accounting degree from University of California, Santa Barbara as well as a NMLS lender license, I understand both the emotional aspect with making one of the largest investments of your life, as well the financial aspect of what it takes to get a loan that makes sense for you, and one that also closes on time with minimal stress to you, the client. I am also part owner and mortgage broker for a private money lending company that caters to investors looking for alternative financing to the conventional investor loan products available today.

At MCG Realty we consider ourselves modern real estate agents who know how to utilize the latest technology to take advantage of the market today! We think outside the box and our marketing strategy with be custom to only you and your house.

Call me to get an honest assessment of what your house is worth, or to discuss how to get your next dream home!

More About Paul

Paul was raised and educated in Milton, MA completing a BA in Physics at Holy Cross in 1969. Although he was awarded a teaching fellowship at MIT/Boston University, the Air Force trumped his decision sending him to pilot training in Arizona instead. He served as a reconnaissance pilot/aircraft commander in Vietnam where he completed over 100 missions and was awarded the DFC and two oak leaf clusters. After his base was overrun, he escaped through Cambodia, Laos and Thailand and was the only one of his crew of eight to finally return home alive in 1973. He ended his service with a tour at Travis AFB where he settled with wife, Debby, and started their family.

After a short stint selling medical and surgical supplies, Paul decided that the real estate opportunities in Vacaville drove his curiosity and passion. He obtained his real estate brokers license and formed Vacaville Realty and Investment in 1976. He earned his CCIM designation in 1979 and started doing commercial development in 1980. He served as President of the local Board of Realtors in 1984 and in 2014. He currently works at McGuire Capital Real Estate for daughter, Shea, and sons, Tom and Mark. Son, Paul, and his wife, Sundance, represent another side of the service community as firefighter/paramedic and surgical physician’s assistant.

Paul has always been involved with the community, serving as President of the Chamber of Commerce; founding member and board president of the Children’s Network of Solano County; founding member and board president of Opportunity House, the local homeless shelter; helped build Notre Dame elementary school and served several terms as their board president.

Always striving for balance in life, Paul is also an avid golfer and tennis player, attempting to pass on these passions to his six grandchildren who live near by.
