We are moving in the direction of community building, small business supporting, and sustainability.
The McGuire siblings not only followed their parent’s path for real estate, they also followed their path of community service. Parents, Debby and Paul McGuire, founded or contributed to local organizations like VPEF, Opportunity House, Children’s Network, LINK-CREW, Rotary, Wellness in Schools, Christmas Wish, Challenge Days, GOTCHA, YTOT, Chamber of Commerce, Notre Dame Elementary School, and various development projects throughout Vacaville. Today, Shea has founded a Waldorf-inspired early education center, currently working on bringing a private Waldorf K-8 School to Vacaville. She is working towards Biodynamic Farming practices and hopes to educate the local community through her experience so that “the earth may heal”. She sits on the board at Vacaville Public Education Foundation, is a member of Vacaville Rotary, has organized and contributed to fundraising events for Opportunity House. She uses her experiences living 3 years in Central America and West Africa through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps to help a local Liberian Refugee Family with 20+members. She is passionate about offering diverse, socially just opportunities in education and experiences for youth, as seen in the recent Youth Rising program at VUSD. Thinking outside the box, Tom has creatively re-branded a private money source (now called McGuire Capital Group) to help local investors finance properties that may not fit a conventional market. Not only is this helping to fuel our local small businesses, but MCG also donates to many local organizations like Police Activities League, Wounded Warriors, Coats for Kids, and Waldorf Education. Mark is constantly reminding-creating his company to stay at the leading edge of culture and success. He is involved in the Young Professional Network, which is a local group that raises money for local causes such as CASA and Heart 2 Heart, which provide support to foster children. Mark encourages his agents to be involved in our local community and find their own passion outside of real estate. Mark currently sits on the Board at the Northern Solano County Association of Realtors and is driven to help Realtors through his leadership. All 3 siblings invest locally, not only in real estate assets, but also to help beautify and rehabilitate the downtown, including the purchase and rehabilitation of the historical Carnegie Library.
